Alkass Boosts Production Capabilities with EVS’ LiveCeption Signature Solution
Alkass, a renowned Qatari network known for its comprehensive coverage of international and domestic sports events, is set to enhance its production capabilities by adopting EVS’ LiveCeption Signature solution. The agreement between the two companies was announced at NAB Show 2024, signaling a major step forward for Alkass. They will replace all legacy XT3 servers with the latest XT-VIA servers and incorporate IP-based LSM-VIA replay systems. The new solution will be deployed in August across Alkass’ fleet of OB trucks.
The decision to switch from legacy XT3 servers to EVS XT-VIA servers, along with the integration of IP-based LSM-VIA replay systems, has been announced by both parties at NAB 2024. This cutting-edge solution guarantees compatibility with the latest formats and codecs, making Alkass ready for the future and adaptable to their evolving requirements. Operators will have direct access to network content, allowing them to navigate through live content efficiently and create compelling replays and highlights of every captured moment. Additionally, the solution offers the option to integrate XtraMotion, EVS’ AI-based super slow-motion service, which enhances storytelling capabilities with super slow-motion replays.
