Monte Harrison, Former MLB player, signs on to play college football for Arkansas

As a former four-star recruit, Monte Harrison has always had a passion for college football. However, after nine seasons of professional baseball, including three in MLB, he is ready to pursue a new chapter in his athletic career. The 28-year-old athlete has decided to walk-on to the Arkansas Razorbacks football team, making him one of the oldest college football players.

During his time in the MLB, Harrison played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Miami Marlins, experiencing both minor league and major league success. He made his major league debut in 2020 and played for the Los Angeles Angels before rejoining the Brewers on a minor league contract. Despite his baseball career, Harrison’s love for football never waned.

Harrison’s decision to join the Arkansas Razorbacks has garnered attention from other schools like Nebraska and Tennessee. He is set to make his mark in the college football world at the age of 29 when the Razorbacks open their season on August 29 against Arkansas Pine-Bluff. With his talent and determination, Harrison is ready to showcase his skills and make an impact on the football field.
