Kris Kim made headlines with his impressive performance on his PGA Tour debut, becoming the youngest player to make the cut on tour in nine years and the youngest ever at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. The 16-year-old amateur’s scores of three-under-68 and four-under-67 placed him in contention at the tournament in McKinney, Texas.

Despite admitting to feeling nervous on the 18th hole when he had to make a birdie putt to secure his spot in the cut, Kim displayed a strong game and a mature approach that belied his age.
