Vikings Dominant in Baseball Matchup, Chesaning Takes Home Softball Victory

On Tuesday, Swan Valley faced off against Bay City John Glenn in a Tri-Valley Conference baseball matchup, with the Vikings coming out on top with a score of 11-1. Unfortunately, rain interrupted the second game in the third inning with John Glenn leading 2-0. Both teams are hoping to resume the doubleheader on Wednesday.

In softball news, Chesaning had a dominant performance against Durand, winning the first game 21-0 and the second game 17-0. Izzy Popilek threw a three-inning no-hitter in the opener, striking out nine batters. Popilek also had three hits and three RBIs. Ava Devereaux led the offense with three hits, including a double and a homer, five RBIs, three stolen bases, and three runs. Brezlyn Struck threw a one-hitter in the second game, striking out five.
