Valencia CF introduces NFC passbook technology at Mestalla

Valencia CF and LALIGA Embrace Contactless Technology for Seamless Stadium Entry with NFC Passbook

Valencia CF and LALIGA have partnered to introduce NFC technology at Mestalla stadium, allowing VCF Socio season ticket holders to utilize their digital pass at the turnstiles. This innovative system enables tickets to be stored on mobile devices like phones or smartwatches and scanned at the turnstiles, eliminating the need for physical tickets and reducing the risk of loss or theft while ensuring smoother entry at stadium access points.

The transition to NFC passbook will begin on May 5th during the match between Valencia CF and Deportivo Alavés. Previously, the club had offered season tickets digitally through QR codes, but now the switch to contactless NFC technology will streamline and expedite entry into the stadium.

Physical 2023/24 season tickets are multi-season, valid for the current season and the next two. For those without NFC-enabled devices, the current digital pass also includes a QR code for entry. To download the NFC passbook, fans can access the Member Portal, log in, click on ‘Download Digital Pass’, and follow the instructions provided via email.

It is important to note that only the first entry to the stadium for each game will be accepted, with subsequent attempts not allowed. Fans may be asked for identification at the turnstiles, and resale of tickets to third parties is strictly prohibited. The club reserves
