The Tulsa World is once again recognizing the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with the All-World Awards. This week, finalists for winter sports will be announced, starting with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, boys and girls wrestling on Thursday, boys basketball on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday.
Last fall, athlete of the year finalists were announced in football, cross country, volleyball, and softball. The 2023-24 All-World honors will include football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country.
Spring sports finalists will be revealed in early June, along with winners for specialty awards such as the best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes, and a lifetime achievement award recipient. The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be announced at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet presented by Bill Knight Automotive at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall on Thursday June 20th. Tickets for the banquet are $75 and can be purchased at allworldawards.com. Seating is limited. To read more and see the finalists announced so far please click here
