Unleash Your Inner Superhero: The Hall of Heroes at Mid-America Science Museum Opens May 25th
Hall of Heroes, a new traveling exhibit at Mid-America Science Museum, is set to open its doors to the public on Saturday, May 25th. The exhibit, located in the museum’s Hall of Wonder, takes visitors on an exciting journey through the history and science of superheroes. Visitors can expect interactive programming, movie props, replicas, and rare artifacts from major motion pictures and television shows, both past and present.
Diane LaFollette, CEO of Mid-America Science Museum, expressed her excitement about the exhibit stating that it offers a unique opportunity for visitors to discover their inner hero and explore the timeless ideals of courage, resilience, and selflessness. The exhibit provides an engaging exploration of the history and evolution of heroes in popular culture.
One of the highlights of the exhibit is a full-scale “half” replica of the iconic 1960’s Barris Kustoms’ Batmobile. Additionally, guests can visit the “Identification Station” to choose one of five superpower disciplines: “Powers of the Body,” “Powers of the Mind,” “Mastery,” “Gadgets,” and the “Elements.” Interactive stations throughout the exhibit allow visitors to explore, learn and test their skills based on their chosen discipline.
