Unhealthy Eateries: A Weekly Update of Restaurant Closures in Orange County

During the week of April 25 to May 2, Orange County health inspectors ordered several restaurants and food vendors to close due to various health violations. The kitchen at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club in Newport Beach was one such establishment that was closed on May 1 due to a cockroach infestation but was allowed to reopen on May 2.

Another restaurant that was shut down was Texas Pit Bar-B-Que in Lake Forest, although the reason for the closure was not provided. Similarly, San Clementa Sushi Co. in San Clemente closed on April 30 due to a rodent infestation but reopened on May 1.

Zankou Chicken in Anaheim was also temporarily closed on April 29 because of a cockroach infestation but was able to reopen on April 30. Other closures during the week included Orange County Pizza in Rancho Santa Margarita, Golden Rose Mediterranean Cuisine in Buena Park, CTB Eatery in Garden Grove, John’s Incredible Pizza Co. in Buena Park, Royal Wok in Orange, Cho Tam Bien in Garden Grove, and Seoul Haus in Irvine.
