Tulsa World Celebrates Top High School Athletes with All-World Awards for 2022-23 Winter Sports Season.
The Tulsa World is once again celebrating the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with the All-World Awards. The finalists for winter sports will be revealed throughout the week, with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, boys and girls wrestling on Thursday, boys basketball on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday. On Sunday, the World’s All-State boys and girls basketball teams will be announced.
The spring sports finalists will also be announced in early June, along with winners for specialty awards such as the best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes, and a lifetime achievement award winner. The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet, presented by Bill Knight Automotive, on Thursday, June 20 at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall.
