Tulsa Tech Hosts Annual Contest to Recognize Tulsa Area’s Best High School Mascots, Bands, Cheer Squads and Dance Teams

Tulsa Tech is running a contest to recognize the best mascot, band, cheer squad, dance team, and fan base in the Tulsa area. Last year, Jenks took home the titles in all categories. The year before, Broken Arrow dominated all categories except for mascot, which was won by Rambo from Owasso High School.

If you have a favorite mascot, band, cheer squad, dance team or fan base that you would like to nominate for this contest, you can do so by visiting the Tulsa World website. Each person can nominate once per category. The top five nominees in each category will move on to the voting round. The winning school will be contacted prior to the event.

In addition to recognizing exceptional athletes and coaches in high school sports through the All-World Awards sponsored by Bill Knight Automotive, Tulsa Tech is also hosting a contest to recognize outstanding mascots, bands, cheer squads and dance teams in the Tulsa area. Last year saw Jenks take home titles in all categories while Broken Arrow dominated all categories except for mascot which was won by Rambo from Owasso High School.
