Tragic End for Israeli Woman in Rio de Janeiro as Investigation Surges
On May 7th, Alma Buadana, an Israeli woman residing in Rio de Janeiro for over three months, tragically lost her life. Her companion has shared that they were walking when a motorcyclist or someone in a red car approached them, leading them to believe they were being robbed. In an attempt to escape, Alma fell from a 15-meter height near the rise to Corcovado.
However, inconsistencies in the companion’s testimonies have led authorities to suspect his involvement in Alma’s death. Homicide detectives are currently investigating all leads as they attempt to uncover the truth behind her tragic demise. It is important to note that Alma had only recently met her companion in a hostel in Copacabana before the event occurred.
Alma’s body will be transported back to Israel for burial with the assistance of the Israeli Foreign Ministry. The investigation into her death continues as authorities work tirelessly to piece together the events leading up to her fatal fall near Mount Corcovado on Almirante Alexandrino Boulevard at approximately 7:00 PM on May 7th.
