118 Utah Student-Athletes Graduate at University Commencement Ceremony from Various Sports

The University of Utah celebrates record-breaking 155th general commencement with 94% graduation rate for student-athletes

The University of Utah will celebrate the graduation of 118 current and former student-athletes on Thursday, May 2 during its 155th general commencement. This ceremony will recognize graduates from Fall 2023, Spring, and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

The university is proud to recognize its student-athletes for their academic achievements, with a high graduation rate of 94 percent according to the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93 percent or higher, ranking the university second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.

Among the different sports represented by the graduating student-athletes are baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, beach volleyball
