The Science Behind the Laughter: A Comedic Genius Interview with Tig Notaro

In an exclusive interview with Science Vs, comedian Tig Notaro shared the science behind her comedy. Known for her fifth comedy special “Hello Again,” Tig discussed her process of building jokes and gave us insight into her comedic genius. We were treated to a variety of dumb and fabulous jokes that had us laughing out loud.

During this episode of our Funniest Joke in the World series, we interviewed Tig and delved into the world of comedy with her. From exploring the possibility of becoming a comedian ourselves to learning about Tig’s methods for creating jokes, we gained a new appreciation for the art of making people laugh. Tig also discussed the importance of surprise in comedy and shared some of her favorite jokes with us.
