The End of an Era: Dark Heart Content Update Unveils the Final Chapter of Dragonflight and Sets Stage for The War Within Expansion

Dragonflight’s final chapter is here, with the release of the Dark Heart content update on May 7th. This update marks the end of Dragonflight and sets the stage for the next expansion, The War Within™. Get ready to embark on new questlines and uncover hidden mysteries as you explore Azeroth.

As part of this update, players will receive access to all Dragonflight quests at maximum level. Draenei and Troll characters will also have new heritage armor sets available through specific questlines. Draenei players can claim the Embrace of Lost Embaari and Endurance of Temple Telhamat armor sets by completing the “An Artificer’s Appeal” quest in Stormwind. Meanwhile, Trolls can earn the Covenant of the Darkspear armor by seeking out Zi’guma in Orgrimmar and completing the “Return to the Echo Isles” quest.

The Dark Heart storyline follows Khadgar summoning you to Dalaran to investigate the Harbinger and a powerful relic known as the Dark Heart. Alleria Windrunner joins you on this journey, adding her unique perspective to the investigation. Xal’atath, Harbinger of the Void, emerges from the shadows, leading into a storyline for The War Within expansion.
