Tahoe Forest Health System Expands Accessible Care with New Lease of Former Rite Aid Truckee Space

Tahoe Forest Health System is thrilled to announce that it has secured a long-term lease for the space that was previously occupied by Rite Aid Truckee in the Gateway Center. Located at 11230 Donner Pass Road, the 21,000 square foot building has been vacant since Rite Aid closed its doors in December 2023. The Health System views this new space as an opportunity to expand its services and make healthcare more convenient for the community.

Harry Weis, President and CEO of Tahoe Forest Health System, expressed excitement about the possibilities that this new space presents. He stated that the building will provide greater flexibility in offering a wider range of services to the public. Additionally, the central location, easy parking, and accessibility of the building are considered as added benefits.

Although no specific plans for the space have been announced yet, the Health System is actively working to determine which services would be most beneficial for the community at this location. This strategic move aligns with their goal of making healthcare more accessible and convenient for residents in the Truckee area. Stay tuned for updates on what services will be offered at the new location in the future.
