Universal Orlando Resort has announced details about the upcoming Super Nintendo World, which is set to be a part of the new Epic Universe theme park due to open in 2025. This addition to Universal Orlando Resort will provide guests with attractions, dining options, shopping opportunities and interactive experiences all inspired by the popular Super Mario franchise.
Guests will enter Super Nintendo World through the iconic green pipe and immerse themselves in the world of Super Mario. They will see familiar sights from the games throughout the land, including Peach’s Castle, Goombas and spinning coins. Iconic characters like Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach will also be present for guests to interact with.
A section dedicated to Donkey Kong Country will allow guests to encounter characters like Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Super Nintendo World will feature multiple attractions such as Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure, and Mine-Cart Madness. Guests can enjoy snacks at Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats or have a meal at Toadstool Cafe.
Super Nintendo World is just one of five lands that make up the new Epic Universe theme park. The other lands include Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
