Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Expands Small and Medium Enterprises Center to Foster Economic Development

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has recently unveiled a new headquarters for the Small and Medium Enterprises Center “Trade 101” in Khor Fakkan. This expansion is part of the chamber’s ongoing efforts to support and develop entrepreneurs’ projects across Sharjah. The goal is to encourage entrepreneurs to engage in economic activities and contribute to the emirate’s economic development and Emiratisation efforts.

The opening ceremony was attended by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other key officials from the region. They emphasized the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs and the business community in Sharjah. The Trade 101 initiative was launched in 2019 with the aim of providing a supportive environment for entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into successful projects.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadhi expressed confidence in the new headquarters’ ability to support the business environment in Khor Fakkan. He praised the Sharjah Chamber for its exceptional programs aimed at enhancing entrepreneurs’ skills and supporting them in achieving their goals. The Chamber’s efforts align with its objectives of integrating young citizens into the local trade market and increasing their contribution to the national gross product.
