Deputies on the lookout for 71-year-old with health issues who went missing

Search for Missing Fishing Enthusiast: Locating Billy Kearse, a 71-Year-Old with Health Concerns and Tattoo on Ann’s Trail in Gaffney, South Carolina

In Gaffney, South Carolina, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a missing 71-year-old man named Billy Kearse. On Tuesday morning, Kearse was last seen walking along Ann’s Trail near Scruggs Trail, accompanied by a small Chihuahua dog and headed out for a fishing trip.

Kearse has some health concerns that require him to use a tracheotomy and a voice box amplifier. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with shoulder-length gray hair. Additionally, he has a tattoo on his left upper arm that reads “Jennie.”
