Revolutionizing Music Production: New Apple Logic Pro Updates Bring Artificial Intelligence and Portability to the Creative Process
Apple has recently released new versions of Logic Pro software for both iPad and Mac, featuring significant advancements. The updated Logic Pro now includes advanced features powered by artificial intelligence that aid musicians in the creative process while still allowing for complete artistic control.
One of the most exciting new features is Session Player, which expands on the popular Drummer function by introducing Bass Player and Keyboard Player options. These AI-generated virtual musicians can adjust their playing based on feedback, providing a personalized musical experience. For example, the Bass Player offers various style and intensity options, while the Keyboard Player can switch between simple block chords and complex harmonic expressions.
Another new feature, Stem Splitter, allows artists to separate and manipulate individual components of audio recordings for refining old tracks or exploring new creative possibilities. ChromaGlow is a feature that uses AI to add warmth and depth to audio tracks, offering multiple saturation options for finding the perfect tone for each composition.
The iPad version of Logic Pro transforms the device into a portable recording studio optimized for touch interfaces and capable of managing complex projects with the power of Apple chips. The Mac version, on the other hand, offers advanced features for professional studio-level production.
The Mac version of Logic Pro (version 11) will be available on the Mac App Store starting May 13 as a free update for existing users or for €229.99 for new buyers. The iPad version (version 2) will also be available at the same time as a free update or for a monthly subscription of €4.99 or an annual subscription of €49. Both versions require Apple’s latest operating systems to function properly.
