Revolutionizing Healthcare: The Launch of Middle Park Health’s Fraser Campus

Middle Park Health’s Fraser Campus was officially launched on April 25, with supporters, employees, and community members gathering to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony. Located on the eastern side of Grand County at Telemark Drive and U.S. Highway 40, this new health care center promises to expand medical services and provide faster emergency response times, economic benefits, and more.

The Fraser Campus will feature an emergency department, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services, as well as two inpatient beds similar to those available at the Granby and Kremmling campuses. Staff members are excited about the potential for this new location to enhance healthcare services in the area.

The facility will be a two-story, 30,000-square-foot structure with a helicopter pad. The first floor will house emergency medical services, four exam rooms, two trauma bays, two licensed beds, CT scanning, X-ray and lab services. The second floor will be 15,000 square feet and will serve future needs. While the infrastructure of the second floor is already in place, the interior will be completed at a later date. Director of Business Development Tiffany Freitag shared that within the first three to five years of opening the Fraser location, Middle Park Health leadership will determine the best use for the second floor which may include expanding surgical services or additional clinic or rehabilitation space.

Existing campus locations in Granby and Kremmling serve residents from Grand and Jackson counties as well as part of Summit County. To further support this expansion effort, Middle Park Medical Foundation is also offering philanthropy opportunities for individuals who wish to contribute more. As a Colorado State-approved Enterprise Zone Contribution Project, cash gifts are eligible for a 25% tax credit while in-kind gifts are eligible for a 12.5% tax credit.
