Enhancing Security Measures in County Offices Through Advanced Weapon Detection Technology

Revolutionizing Campus Safety: Geauga County Offices Implement Advanced Artificial Intelligence System

Recently, Geauga County offices have teamed up with two local school districts to improve campus security by implementing the ZeroEyes system. This cutting-edge technology uses artificial intelligence to detect the presence of a firearm, even if only a small fraction of the weapon is visible to surveillance cameras.

On April 30, a demonstration of the ZeroEyes system took place at the Geauga County Office Building on Ravenwood Drive. During the event, Brett Handell, Vice President of Education and Local Government Solutions at ZeroEyes, explained how the AI system is integrated into the existing network of security cameras in the area. The system is currently being used in Berkshire and Chardon school districts and has proven to be highly effective in enhancing security measures.

In the event that a firearm is detected by the ZeroEyes system, instant alerts are sent to the company’s security team. This allows for quick and appropriate responses to potential threats, providing a safer environment for students, staff, and visitors in participating school districts and county offices. Overall, this advanced technology aims to improve safety and security across Geauga County.
