Rangers Unveil Franchise’s First World Series Banner on MLB Opening Day 2024

Rangers Embark on Historic 2021 Season with New World Series Banner and Championship Ring Ceremony!

The Texas Rangers embarked on their 2021 season with a historic moment, unveiling their first-ever World Series banner at Globe Life Field. As the team played at their fifth stadium in their second city, they celebrated their championship win by presenting the Commissioner’s Trophy before their game against the Chicago Cubs. Manager Bruce Bochy and pitcher Josh Sborz shared in the excitement with the crowd, promising another incredible season ahead.

The celebration continued as the Rangers unveiled a World Series banner, accompanied by Queen’s anthem “We Are The Champions.” The team will further honor their championship success by receiving their rings in a ceremony before their upcoming game on Saturday.

The road to victory was marked by years of investment in young talent such as Evan Carter and Josh Jung, as well as high-profile free agent signings like Corey Seager and Marcus Semien. The unexpected emergence of Adolis García as a star player also played a significant role in the team’s success.

Despite a mid-season slump, the Rangers bounced back in the playoffs, ultimately defeating the Houston Astros in the ALCS before clinching the World Series title against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The championship win was a long-awaited moment for the team, who had come close to winning in previous years but fell short.
