The Buffalo Bandits are in the running for several awards this season, including the National Lacrosse League’s top honor – Most Valuable Player. Forwards Josh Byrne and Dhane Smith have been nominated for the MVP award, alongside Toronto Rock goalie Nick Rose.

In addition to their MVP nominations, both Byrne and Smith are also up for Offensive Player of the Year. The Bandits’ Ian MacKay is also in the running for Transition Player of the Year.

The NLL Finals are just around the corner, and the Bandits will be facing off against the Albany FireWolves as they aim to achieve back-to-back league championships. The first game of the finals will take place on May 17 in Albany.

Who will come out on top in these awards? It remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – it will be a tough competition among some of the best players in lacrosse today.
