Professor Sangbok Kim Receives Prestigious 2024 ASSETT Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award for Innovative Approach to Incorporating Technology in Education

Sangbok Kim, a Teaching Professor of Korean in the College of Arts and Sciences, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 ASSETT Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award. This award recognizes a faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in incorporating technology into their teaching practices. The student-led committee that selected Professor Kim for this award praised his innovative use of various technological tools such as shared OneDrive documents, AI, PIP Lang (which he helped develop), and other resources that enhance the learning experience both inside and outside of the classroom.
