Northeastern Varsity Eight Earns CAA Boat of the Week for Fourth-Place Finish in Eastern Sprints

The Northeastern Varsity Eight has been named the CAA Boat of the Week for the 2024 season. The Huskies earned a fourth-place finish in the Grand Final of the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond with a time of 7:02.588.

The Northeastern crew included Camille Arnold-Mages as Cox, Isla Bathgate as Stroke, and other team members such as Firinne Rolfe, Ellexi Fulton, Iris Cotrupi, Heather Taylor, Grace Theobald, Julia Halbreich, and Jordan Hillyard. Despite coming in behind No. 7, No. 13, and No. 19 teams in the country, they finished ahead of Boston University and Dartmouth.

Northeastern advanced to the Grand Final by winning their heat with a time of 6:55.658 on Mar. 20th defeating No. 19 Columbia, URI, Michigan State, Marist and Colgate. This is an impressive achievement for the Northeastern crew who have shown dedication and hard work throughout the season.
