By April next year, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be unveiled.

Nintendo Announces Release Date for Switch Successor: What to Expect from the Next Big Reveal

Nintendo has announced that the successor to the popular Switch console will be revealed by April 2025. This news was announced alongside the company’s year-end financial results, with Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa confirming that the new console will be unveiled within this fiscal year, with a deadline set for March 31, 2025. This aligns with rumors of a launch in the first quarter of 2025.

During discussions of the financial results, Furukawa stated that a Nintendo Direct in June 2024 will focus on the Switch software lineup for the second half of the year. However, there will be no news about the new model during that presentation. Despite a forecast of a slowdown in Switch console sales, with estimates of 13.5 million units sold this year compared to 15.7 million in the previous fiscal year, the number of active players on the platform is increasing steadily. Between April 2023 and March 2024, Nintendo recorded 123 million annual players, which is the highest number since its launch.

Nintendo plans to continue supporting the current generation of Switch console and aims to have multiple consoles in each household. In addition to this news about Switch, various online platforms are discussing topics ranging from health to family traditions and tree removal services in Rotherham. With such diverse topics being discussed, there is something for everyone to explore and learn about.

In conclusion, it’s an exciting time for gamers as they eagerly wait for Nintendo’s next big reveal!
