New Vice President of Operations Appointed at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City: Justin Morley Brings Diverse Background and Experience to the Role

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City has appointed Justin Morley as the new vice president of operations. Morley will take over the role following the retirement of Becky Miller last year. He brings with him five years of experience serving as the vice president of operations at the SSM Health System office, where he played a key role in shaping and implementing SSM Health’s Operating Model.

Morley also founded the concept behind the company’s Clinical Recruitment Team. In a news release, he expressed his passion for hospital operations, noting that his career began in supply chain management. He emphasized his love for the connection between the work carried out within hospitals and the impact it has on patients and communities.

Morley is excited about working alongside the dedicated caregivers at St. Mary’s Hospital, emphasizing the institution’s rich history of providing care to those in need. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with exceptional individuals and teams as they continue to uphold a standard of excellence in all they do.

In his new role, Morley will oversee various departments, including the inpatient pharmacy, information technology, safety, and security, among others. His diverse background and experience are expected to be valuable assets in his new position at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Prior to joining SSM Health, Morley held leadership positions at Intermountain Health in two different regions as well as at the system office. His expertise and knowledge make him an ideal candidate for this position, and we are confident that he will excel in this new role.

We are thrilled to welcome Justin Morley to our team at St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City and look forward to seeing how he will help us continue to provide exceptional care to our patients and communities.
