New Urgent Care Facility Boosts Health Care Services in Jefferson City.
MU Health Care is expanding its urgent care services in west Jefferson City with a new and larger facility set to open at the end of May. The new location, situated in the 3500 block of West Truman Boulevard, will provide more space and additional services such as on-site imaging and lab draw. The facility will be open seven days a week from 7:30 am to 7 pm for walk-in patients starting on May 30. To accommodate the opening of the new urgent care, MU Health Care has closed its Eastland drive location. However, the Edgewood drive urgent care will remain open until May 29 to ensure continuity of services for patients in Jefferson City.
The new location will offer a wider range of medical services, including primary care, urgent care, and specialty care. Patients can also take advantage of on-site imaging and lab draw services for quick diagnosis and treatment.
