The Packers add OT Andre Dillard to their roster

New Blood and Fresh Perspectives: The Packers Sign Veteran Left Tackle Andre Dillard to Compete for Starting Spot

The Green Bay Packers have announced the signing of free agent Andre Dillard, who will compete for the left tackle job. With David Bakhtiari becoming a free agent after his release, the Packers have many questions surrounding their offensive line, particularly at left tackle. Currently, they have Rasheed Walker, Kadeem Teifort, Zach Tom, Luke Tenuta, and Caleb Jones at tackle on their roster.

Andre Dillard is a 28-year-old veteran with experience playing both left and right tackle. He has played 59 games and made 19 starts in his career. In 2023, he started 10 games at left tackle for the Titans. Last season, he played a career-high 562 offensive snaps and showcased his potential as a valuable asset for the Packers. He was released by the Tennessee Titans on March 15th after four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles following his drafting in 2019 as the 22nd overall pick.

In addition to signing Dillard, the Packers may also look to draft multiple linemen next week to further strengthen their offensive line. The team has been actively seeking to address their offensive line concerns following Bakhtiari’s departure and may continue to explore different options before finalizing their roster for the upcoming season.
