NASA has announced six new missions aimed at collecting and observing environmental data on Earth. These projects will use a variety of tools, including airplanes, helicopters, and drones, to gather information over the next decade.

One mission will focus on changes in water flows in the Arctic, while another will study how wildfires impact weather patterns. A separate project will examine air pollution in urban areas to understand its effects on human health.

NASA has also launched the PACE satellite for ocean and atmospheric research, emphasizing their commitment to studying the Earth and its environment. The director of NASA, Bill Nelson, highlighted the importance of satellites and space vehicles in providing detailed Earth observations.

On Earth Day, NASA invited people worldwide to take a photo in their favorite outdoor location, especially near water. This initiative aims to connect people globally and celebrate the beauty of our planet.
