Vandalism caught on camera: Thief strikes Miramar business twice in one night

Miramar’s The Forever Smoke Shop: Vandalized and Shuttered on the Brink of Its Grand Opening

Miramar’s The Forever Smoke Shop was vandalized just before its grand opening, with a suspect captured on surveillance video smashing the front windows and door of the business. After causing damage, the man took a photo of his work before moving to the back of the shop to do more harm. He returned 20 minutes later to inflict even more destruction before destroying the surveillance cameras.

The owner arrived in the morning to discover the extent of the vandalism and was left feeling disheartened about the potential impact on their grand opening, which was scheduled for Saturday. Anthony Pascariella, owner of Major Ink Studios nearby, expressed his support for the affected business owner and disbelief at the situation.

Despite fear and uncertainty about the perpetrator’s identity and motives, the owner of The Forever Smoke Shop declined to speak on camera. Miramar police and Broward Crime Stoppers are seeking any information that may lead to the apprehension of the suspect, while members of the community are urged to contact authorities with any potential leads.
