McLeod Health invests $375,000 in HGTC Nursing & Health Sciences Institute to cultivate a skilled healthcare workforce

On April 15, McLeod Regional Medical Center’s Leadership from the Coastal Region and Workforce Development presented a check of $375,000 to Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) for the new Nursing & Health Sciences Institute at the Grand Strand Campus. This investment underscores McLeod Health’s dedication to cultivating a well-prepared healthcare workforce in the community.

Monica Vehige, CEO of McLeod Loris Seacoast, emphasized the importance of this partnership with HGTC in preparing high-quality graduates for the healthcare industry.
