Local Leaders Excel in 2024: An Overview of St. Louis’ Distinguished Achievements

Marty Oberman has been honored with the 2024 Peggy Nelson Esperanza Award from Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis for his over 30 years of service on the board. Christian T. Gordon has become a member/partner at Lewis Rice, specializing in corporate Environmental, Chemical & Toxic Tort, and Real Estate practice groups.

Kerryann Kohut has transitioned to a full-time retention specialist at Cooperative Home Health Care. Wealth management firm Smith Moore hired Joyce Randle as the director of practice management and branch manager of the Clayton and Chesterfield offices. Clayco appointed Kara Wurtz as the director of financial planning & analysis.

Mitch Bridges was promoted to executive vice president and chief credit officer at Midwest BankCentre, while KAI Enterprises hired Jim Duckwitz as their new controller. JB Floyd was elected as the St. Louis 2024 Business Person of the Year by Alignable. Steven Bowman joined the board of directors at United 4 Children.

Shelley Scalzo Brown was recently appointed as vice president of safety at Alberici, and Mike Blankenship was welcomed to Powers Insurance & Risk Management as their new commercial lines account manager.
