Kenyan Teenager Shatters Road Mile World Record with Stunning Run

Emmanuel Wanyonyi, a 19-year-old teenager from Kenya, broke the road mile world record in Herzogenaurach, Germany with an incredible run of three minutes and 54.56 seconds. This was his competitive debut over the distance and it solidified his place among the top athletes in the world.

Wanyonyi is known for his prowess as an 800-meter runner and had previously won the silver medal in the men’s 800m at the 2023 World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary. His dedication and skill are clear indicators of a promising future in the world of athletics.
