Kaylia Nemour of Algeria Wins Gold at Doha World Cup in Stellar 2024 Season

Kazakhstan’s Milad Karimi Sweeps the Floor in Doha World Cup Gymnastics Competition

On Friday (19 April), the Doha World Cup saw a string of impressive performances by gymnasts from around the world. Kaylia Nemour of Algeria, who won the silver medal in the 2023 World uneven bars competition, continued her winning streak by taking home the gold in the uneven bars final at the Doha World Cup with a score of 15.366. Levi Ruivivar from the Philippines and neutral athlete Alena Tsitavets finished in second and third place, respectively, with scores of 13.633 and 13.600.

In women’s competition, Karla Navas from Panama clinched the vault title with an average score of 13.850, while An Chang Ok from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea came in a close second with a score of 13.833. Valentina Georgieva from Bulgaria took home the bronze with a score of 13.466.

Moving on to men’s competition, Milad Karimi from Kazakhstan emerged victorious in the floor exercise final with a score of 14.766, edging out Team GB’s Luke Whitehouse for top spot with a score of 14.566. Karimi’s compatriot Dmitriy Patanin grabbed third place with a score of 14.500
