Kandiyohi County Board to Discuss Mental Health Support for Children and Families – West Central Tribune

Kandiyohi County Proclaims April Mental Health Month, Foster Care Appreciation Month and More during Board Meeting

The Kandiyohi County Board will hold a meeting on May 7 in Willmar, during which they will proclaim Mental Health Month, Foster Care Appreciation Month, Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day and Child Care Provider Appreciation Day. Presentations on mental health services and foster care in the county will be given by Kandiyohi County’s Health and Human Services, Woodland Centers and the United Community Action Partnership Parent Support Outreach Program.

In addition to these proclamations, the board will discuss and approve the 2024 Community Crime Intervention and Prevention Grant contract, bid award for reconstruction of County Road 7, and bid award for 2024 bituminous surfacing projects including overlays of County Roads 23 and 5.
