Jackson Walker’s Role in the 37th Annual Technology Law Conference at The University of Texas School of Law: Insights from Jennifer Wertz and Beau Butler

The 37th Annual Technology Law Conference at The University of Texas School of Law, scheduled for May 23-24, 2024, promises to be a valuable event for professionals in the technology industry. Jackson Walker partner Jonathan E. Lass played a crucial role in the planning committee and served as a presiding officer for the conference. He is an Austin-based partner at Jackson Walker, specializing in technology outsourcing and mergers and acquisitions transactions.

In addition to Jonathan’s involvement, Jackson Walker partner Jennifer F. Wertz will be presenting at the conference on Thursday, May 23. Her presentation, titled “A Technology-Focused Introduction to Bankruptcy & Insolvency,” will provide valuable insights on key concepts in bankruptcy and insolvency, including protectionist and opportunistic strategies. Jennifer is a partner in the Austin office’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring, & Recovery practice at Jackson Walker. Jennifer is also experienced in representing entities in complex corporate reorganization and fiduciary litigation, with a focus on workouts and reorganization.
