India Readies for World Athletics Relays 2024: A Look at Their Powerful Teams in Men’s 4x400m, Women’s 4x400m, and Mixed 4x400m Relay

The World Athletics Relays Bahamas 2024 will see a total of 32 teams competing in the men’s 4x400m relay, 27 teams in the women’s 4x400m relay, and 30 teams in the mixed 4x400m relay. India will be represented in all three races at the event.

In the men’s 4x400m relay, India will field an eight-member team including athletes like Amoj Jacob, Muhammad Anas Yahiya, Muhammad Ajmal, and Rajesh Ramesh, who won the Asian Games gold in the same event at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games. The team also includes Arokia Rajiv, Noah Nirmal Tom, Yashas Palaksha, and Avinash Krishna Kumar.

For the women’s 4x400m relay, India will send a seven-member team led by MR Poovamma, with other athletes like Vithya Ramraj, Aishwarya Mishra, and Subha Venkatesan. Jyothika Sri Dandi and Rupal complete the team.
