Henry Ford Health’s 60-Second Ad during 2024 NFL Draft: Celebrating Courage, Resilience and Commitment in the Heart of Detroit

Henry Ford Health has recently launched a 60-second ad during the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to celebrate their home city, Detroit. Narrated by Dan Campbell, the head coach of the Detroit Lions, the ad emphasizes the health system’s dedication to providing care to the Metro Detroit area and Michigan as a whole.

The ad highlights Henry Ford Health’s mission of having the courage to go for it when the game is on the line, which aligns with Campbell’s message. Heather Geisler, EVP and chief marketing, communications and experience officer at Henry Ford Health, praised Campbell for embodying courage, resilience and commitment, qualities she sees reflected in her team members and patients.

The ad also features members of the provider organization and Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who serves as a brand ambassador for Henry Ford Health. The decision to focus on Detroit’s love for football follows the recent success of the Lions in the playoffs, adding to the campaign’s relevance.

Henry Ford Health collaborated with Campbell Ewald and independent media company Alkemy-x to launch TV spots and out-of-home activations during draft weekend. Billboards across Detroit read “With the first pick, Detroit selects: Henry Ford Health,” capturing locals and visitors alike.

Moving forward, Henry Ford Health plans to expand its campaign across various platforms including TV, digital and social media to continue promoting their commitment to serving Detroit and Michigan.
