Hands-on STEM Fun for the Whole Family: William Elementary School’s Science and Math Night”.
Hundreds of students and their families gathered at William Elementary School in Jonesville on April 25 for the annual Science and Math night. This event, which has been a longstanding tradition in the community, brought together participants from various backgrounds to engage in STEM activities such as science, technology, engineering, and math.
As attendees enjoyed pizza, they explored different stations set up by community members, teachers, and students from the National Honor Society. The night was filled with opportunities for hands-on learning and sparked imagination and creativity in all who attended. One of the highlights of the night was Camp Michindoh, which provided a chance for visitors to interact with different species of animals.
The Jonesville Middle and High School robotics teams also showcased their robots and coding skills during the event. This experience gave elementary-age students a glimpse into the world of robotic coding and how it translates into action.
