Pinning Ceremony Held for OTC Veterinary Technology Program

Graduating Class of Ogeechee Technical College’s Veterinary Technology Program: Celebrating Their Dedication and Service-Oriented Approach

On April 18th, the Veterinary Technology Program at Ogeechee Technical College held a pinning ceremony to celebrate its 2024 graduates. Taylor Rhymes-Wiedner, a graduate of the program, welcomed guests while Juliana Cadle, President of the Ogeechee Tech’s Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA), led the Challenge to Serve.

During the ceremony, Deidre Tillman, a Veterinary Technology instructor at OTC, praised the graduates for their dedication to completing their academic curriculum and for demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care throughout their training. She expressed confidence in their abilities to make a difference in the lives of animals and their human companions.

As part of the ceremony, the class took the Veterinary Technician’s Oath and each of the program’s ten graduates were individually recognized and presented with an Ogeechee Technical College Veterinary Technology pin. The 2024 pin recipients are Avery Beasley, Bonnie Blackburn, Enyia Bostic, Hannah Etheridge, Bryn Green, Faith Jones, Michalla Jones, Maranda Martin, Taylor Rhymes-Weidner
