Google Photos introduces feature to hide specific faces in Memories

Google Photos Now Allows Users to Control What They See in Memories with ‘Show Less’ Feature

In the latest version of Google Photos, users will discover a new feature in the Memories section that allows them to control what they see in their photos. This feature is called ‘Show less’ and it enables users to limit the appearance of specific faces in their collected photographs, giving them greater control over their photo viewing experience.

One of the strengths of Google Photos is its ability to detect and categorize images based on various elements such as places, pets, and faces. One such section is People Search, which helps users locate photos containing a specific person.

The ‘Show less’ feature is more lenient than the ‘Block Face’ option, which completely removes faces from Memories and group photos. Users can access this functionality by navigating to the Settings section, then Preferences, and finally clicking on Memories. From there, they can adjust their preferences for displaying faces in Memories.

Google Photos continues to enhance its features with the aim of providing users with a personalized photo management experience. With these new additions, users have even more control over how they view and manage their photos.
