From Slumps to Supremacy: Oklahoma Wesleyan Baseball Wins Conference Tournament and Secures Spot in NAIA National Tournament

Oklahoma Wesleyan Baseball has just won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title over the weekend. This was an incredible turnaround for the team, as they had been struggling in the final weeks leading up to the tournament, losing five of six games. What seemed like a difficult situation turned into a must-win scenario for Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Head coach Kirk Kelly praised his team for how they handled the pressure during the tournament. Despite facing challenges, they were able to come out on top and secure their spot in the NAIA National Tournament. The selection show is set to take place on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 and will be broadcasted live on the NAIA’s YouTube page.

The Eagles will be competing in a double-elimination tournament, where they will need to win in order to move on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. It has been an exciting journey for the Eagles as they await their assignment in the national tournament. Overall, it’s clear that this team has overcome significant obstacles and worked hard to achieve their goal of making it to the national stage.
