Bills ink 1-year deal with WR Quintez Cephus

From Lions to Bills: The Journey of Controversial Wide Receiver Quintez Cephus

The Buffalo Bills have recently signed wide receiver Quintez Cephus to a one-year contract, following their successful performance in the NFL Draft. Prior to joining the Bills, Cephus played for the Detroit Lions from 2020-2022 and appeared in 22 games, starting in six. During his time with the Lions, he recorded 37 receptions, 568 receiving yards, and four touchdowns.

Cephus is a versatile player who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 202 pounds. He was originally from Macon, Georgia and played college football at Wisconsin before being selected by the Lions in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite his impressive skills on the field, Cephus was among the players suspended by the NFL last year for violating the league’s gambling policy as they were found to have placed bets during the 2022 season.

The addition of Cephus to the Bills’ roster provides depth and experience at the wide receiver position as they prepare for their upcoming season. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see how he contributes to the team’s offense as they aim for success in this upcoming year.
