From Horror to Action: Bill Skarsgård’s Revenge Thriller Boy Kills World

With a mix of comic violence, worldbuilding reminiscent of Hunger Games, and character archetypes borrowed from various sources, Boy Kills World falls short of fully embracing its own identity.

The film’s plot feels overworked at times, with numerous flashbacks and revelations that distract from the action. A leaner edit could potentially improve the pacing and overall impact of the movie. Despite this, Boy Kills World promises fun characters, intense action sequences, and a unique performance from Skarsgård.
