Scheduled between November 20 and December 15, 2024, the World Championship Match 2024 is open for bids to host the event. Interested applicants must submit a bidding form detailing their budget breakdown and proposals for payment to FIDE by May 31, 2024. The minimum required budget for the event is 8,500,000 USD, with a minimum prize fund of 2,500,000 USD.
The regulations for the event must be approved by July 1, 2024 and have a maximum duration of up to 25 days. FIDE reserves the right to extend the deadline if necessary and may enter into additional negotiations to improve or modify bids.
