Exploring Truckee’s Forest Futures: Good Morning Truckee’s Educational Community Forum

Good Morning Truckee is a community forum that provides timely, relevant information on various topics. Held on the third Tuesday of every month at Truckee Town Hall from 7:45-9:15 a.m., it is open to the public and offers both in-person and recorded viewing options. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 8 a.m. Ticket prices are $10 for Truckee Chamber members and $15 for non-members, which includes a continental breakfast and coffee donated by Mountain Brew. In 2024, attendees are encouraged to bring a business card for a chance to win a door prize.

The event will feature presentations from esteemed speakers actively shaping Truckee’s forests’ future, including John Svahn from Truckee Donner Land Trust, Jonathon Fisher from the National Forest Service, and Stacey Caldwell from the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation’s Forest Futures program. The speakers will discuss forest health and land access during their presentations.
