The Lakeside/Somers Chamber of Commerce is hosting their April BASH on April 30 at 4 p.m. at the West Shore Community Library. This event provides a great opportunity to learn about new happenings at the library and network with other businesses in the community.

The Montana Manufacturing Extension Center will be offering Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Training for Meat Processors and Food Manufacturers on May 8-9 at Montana West Economic Development in Kalispell. The training explains the requirements of the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation of the Food Safety Modernization Act, and how companies may benefit from creating or updating a HACCP Plan.
