Mike Newton, a SLED Account Executive at Convergint, focuses on the K-12 vertical in Colorado and previously worked as the director of safety and security for Elizabeth School District. He received the K-12 Director of the Year Award from Campus Safety during his time at Elizabeth SD. Before working in Elizabeth, Newton served in the U.S. Air Force and the Colorado Air National Guard. Both experts have extensive experience in school security and continue to make significant contributions to the safety of educational institutions.
