Empowering Autism Acceptance: The Inspiring Journey of Marcus Moore and His Pretzel Business
Marcus Moore, a man with autism, is changing perceptions about what people with autism can achieve through his pretzel business. He started his brand, Moore Crunch, less than a year ago and has since expanded significantly.
Moore’s pretzels are now available in various stores including Fishpaws Marketplace, Eddies of Roland Park, Geresbeck’s Food Market, Graul’s Market, and Green Valley Marketplace. They can also be found in locations like The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Sinai Hospital, the National Aquarium, and Camden Yards. Moore is currently on a “Crunch Crew Tour” where he visits places that sell his pretzels to meet new people and share his story of empowerment.
Throughout April, which is Autism Acceptance Month, Moore is focused on showing that anything is possible for people with autism. He encourages others not to let anyone limit their potential and believes there is always a way to achieve their goals. Moore is also fundraising to expand his business further, hoping to get a larger commercial kitchen and hire more staff. He also aims to give back to children with autism, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
